CYA : a way of life

In a very structured specialized meeting at work, it had been pointed out to me that I have a naive attitude regarding my acceptance of work-related covering-your-ass activities. (Ie. lists of grievances and job-logging, and blind carbon copying supervisors) Every job has it. Get used to it. Really? I mean sure bullshit happens, but this is what going postal is all about. I think its a scale thing- you know working in a big place like G00gle, Wa1mart or a certain educational venue. Should I move to France?

my blog saw the light

I had resigned to the fact that my blog email account had been dissolved by yahoo and that ALL my blog entries too had disappeared. I keep having difficulty logging in and figured I should accept this natural circumstance be the death of officewizland. I thought of some sort of ceremonial comment I could make to the last post (as the only way to access) the tomb. Of course, I was there to say something magnificently witty which has also passed. A moment after the grief, I considered it God's way of saying to use this new availability of time to finally learn how to knit.

Then today in an effort to avert my massive load of work, I thought I would give it another try. This time I logged in and saw all 181 previous posts and had a renewed sense of opportunity. I am going to travel the world and share what I see! Read the newspaper and learn whats going on in those "Israeli countries" (a quote see), and respond! Collect the world wide web's greatest examples of animated kitty gifs! The internet is my oyster!
